Head Arena Football Coaches
Jaison Young has been an active coach in the sport of football for the last 8 years since first coached his eldest son in flag at the Lake Arbor Community Center in 2004. Since that initial year, Coach Young has never given up the love of helping young men achieve their goals through sports. Coach Young believes that God has truly blessed him with superior mentors in the past and has vowed to be a superior mentor himself. Coach Young simply wants every child to be GREAT. Coach Young has won a league title in the PG Charger inaugural season as the head coach of the Mitey Mite team in 2007 and has won AYF State and Regional Championships in 2008 as an assistant coach on the PG Charger JPW team. Coach Young’s motto is “Whatever it takes for the kids to be successful, tell me and I will do it”. Proverbs 22:6 say’s; Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. This scripture is one that coach Young lives by because he truly believes that the children are our future and they need to be trained in a way that will produce not only great student athletes but productive citizens. Coach Young has two children that have played for the Prince Georges Chargers since its inception of which one was honored with the PG Chargers foundation award in 2010. “We cannot fashion our children
after our desires, we must have
them and love them as God has given
them to us” |
