Coach Martin Durant Coach Martin
Durant: has been a network engineer for
10 years and a security engineer for 8 years.
Currently, Martin is employed by TMR. As
a youth, he played league football and baseball
in Prince William County, VA. Martin ran
track in high school and competed in sprint
and mid-distance events. Martin began his
coaching career as the head flag football
coach for Lake Ridge Parks & Recreation
(2004 – 2005). In 2006, he continued coaching
flag football for the Manassas Sharks. In
2006 - 2007, he joined the American Pride
Youth Football League as an assistant coach.
While with American Pride, he coached a
season of flag football and a season of
85lb tackle football. In 2009, Martin was
an assistant coach for the Glenn Dale Titans
flag football team. Also, in 2009 Martin
started as an assistance coach for the PG
Chargers under Head Coach John Vessels.
Seasons 2010-2012, Coach Martin supported
Coach Vessels in leading his Pee Wee team
to 4th place in the National Championship
Tournament in Florida, a 4th place National
Championship at the 7th grade unlimited
level, and a 3rd place National Championship
at the 8th grade unlimited level. Coach
Martin lives in Bowie, MD with his wife
and two children. He looks forward to another
successful season with the PG Chargers this

John Anderson : has been involved in youth football since 1999, began coaching in Prince Georges County Boys
& Girls Club and also PG Parks & Recreation. He stresses hard work at school and on & off the football field. He enjoys the time he spends helping every child grow. He encourages the children to give maximum effort on
& off the field. Coach Anderson is a PEPCO official in the DC/MD area. Coach Anderson is a dedicated husband and father of three boys.

Coach Juan Carter has been involved with youth coaching and instruction for over 15 years. His earlier years of youth instruction came as a swimming instructor, and over the more recent years transitioned into youth basketball and football coaching.
Coach Juan is a 20 plus year veteran of the D.C. Fire & EMS Dept. A devoted husband of 23 years with one son that participates in our Charger Youth Sports.
Coach Juan prides himself on being dependable and you will find him to be a ready and willing asset in helping develop your child not only in youth sports but also in the arena of life.

Thomas Matthews III
was born and raised in the Washington Metropolitan
Area. He discovered his passion for
sports while playing Junior Varsity Basketball
in Prince George’s County MD for Central
High School and neighborhood football within
his area. Although he did not play
football with his school, he always shared
a love for the sport and learned the dynamics
of the game. Coach Thomas is a great
role model for the kids and loves to help
them develop a love for football as they
grow into young men. He emphasizes
that with hard work, focus and dedication
there is nothing they cannot accomplish.
Coach Thomas is a dedicated husband and
a father of two girls and three boy’s one
of which plays for the PG Charger organization.
Coach Omega Bogans
is from the D.C. area and played football for Silver Hill boys and girls club in the 90's. He enjoys helping our youth grow into productive people. He is married with two kids. His son played flag football for the PG Chargers this spring. Coach Bogans believes that it is very important to show our youth positive men and to let them know that hard work pays off.
